Editorial policy
This page explains how ZoomCoupon produces, checks and maintains its coupons, store pages and guides — including the parts that are automated, which we would rather state openly than hide.

Where our offers come from
Most offers on this site arrive through retailers' own affiliate partner programmes. When a brand launches a promotion, it publishes the offer and the tracking link to its network — impact.com, Awin, CJ Affiliate, Rakuten Advertising, Partnerize and others — and our system imports it, usually the same day.
That matters because it is the opposite of how much of this industry works. We are not copying codes from other coupon sites and hoping they still work. The offer you see came from the merchant's own feed. A smaller number of offers are submitted by shoppers and reviewed by a person before they go live.
Where automation ends and people begin
We think readers deserve to know which parts of a page a machine produced.
- Automated: importing offers and their terms from partner feeds, expiring offers past their end date, keeping tracking links current, recording click and success data, and generating a first-pass description for a store page the moment it is created.
- Human: reviewing submitted coupons, rewriting auto-generated store pages into real copy, writing every guide and research piece, deciding what gets featured, and recording verification.
A newly imported store page starts with placeholder wording and is flagged internally as needing editorial work. Until an editor has been through it, that page is marked so it does not compete in search as though it were finished writing. We would rather a thin page stay quiet than pretend to be something it is not.
What "Verified" means here
We show two different labels, because two different things are being claimed:
- "Live in brand's feed" means the merchant's own partner feed still listed this offer on the date shown. It is checked automatically every day. It proves the brand has not withdrawn the offer — it does not prove a person put the code through a checkout.
- "Verified", with the green tick, appears only after a person recorded a successful check against that offer, on the date shown.
Most coupon sites use the word "verified" for both. We think that is the single most misleading habit in this industry, so we do not do it. Our how we verify coupons page sets out the process.
Independence from commission
We earn money when readers buy through our links. That commission does not decide what we publish, what we feature, or the order offers appear in. We rank by what is likely to be useful — freshness, verification, and whether the code has been working for other shoppers — not by payout. Where a commercial relationship is relevant, we disclose it; see our affiliate disclosure.
We do not accept payment for a favourable review, and we do not let a brand approve our copy before publication.
Accuracy
We do not invent codes, inflate discounts, or dress an ordinary sale up as an exclusive. When an offer carries conditions — minimum spend, new customers only, category exclusions — we aim to show them with the offer rather than bury them. When we are unsure about a detail, we say so or send you to the retailer's own page.
Keeping content current
Coupons go stale fast, so the site is rebuilt against the partner feeds every day. Offers with an end date drop off by themselves. Offers that shoppers report as broken are expired. Store pages and guides are revisited as brands change their programmes, and pages carry a last-updated date so you can judge for yourself.
Corrections
If we publish something wrong, we fix it rather than quietly delete it. Spotted an error in an offer, a price or a guide? Tell us through the contact page and we will look at it promptly. You can also use the feedback buttons on any offer — that is often the fastest route, because it feeds straight into the offer's success rate.
